Instrumenting UEM on SAP Webdyn Pro

Hi,

I've an SAP environment monitored by DCRUM that cannot capture transactions via URL recognition or request/response body because the URL gets scrambled by SAP's Webdyn Pro component. I am thinking of using UEM to get this but I've a few challenges as I am not an SAP expert. Anyone have an idea about my concerns below regarding instrumenting SAP Webdyn Pro for UEM?:

1) Is it even possible to do it? I'm looking at the SAP documentation and can't find any way to input the agentpath argument despite it being a Java based application

2) If it works, will UEM be able to capture texts on button names? The HTML object's "ID" is scrambled every hour or so.

3) If I manually inject the argument (assuming I cannot instrument Webdyn) and push the monitor signal to a small Apache/IIS server with web server agent installed, will I still get the 'network time' (minus the server time) in the user action dashlet?

Thanks!

Unfortunately the system is still being developed and configured, hence we haven't been able to set up UEM for this yet. Anyone else had a shot at setting up UEM for this?

Hi there,

We are facing the same issue of DCRUM not being able to capture transactions.

Have you tried UEM on this?

Thanks!
