Monitoring Shiny Server

Does Dynatrace 6.5 support monitoring of Shiny Server? We have several a linux running Shiny Server which is a web server program specifically designed to host R apps.

I can't find it as a supported platform.

Hi Franc,

Is the Shiny Server you are talking about is this?

Shiny is an R package that makes it easy to build interactive web apps straight from R. You can host standalone apps on a webpage or embed them in R Markdown documents or build dashboards. You can also extend your Shiny apps with CSS themes, htmlwidgets, and JavaScript actions

So, your suggestion is to instrument R applications instead Shiny Server?.

Because you suggestions are about phyton apps and R is a different language and looking at the blog there's no info about instrumenting R applications.
