Where is Settings/User Actions - Such as URL clean up rule?

I am trying to learn DTSaas Business Transactions as presented by Mike Gibbons in his webinar

https://university.dynatrace.com/education/dynatrace/21409/21899 (about 20:24 minutes into it). He talks about Settings/User Actions where you can define rules for your application such as URL Clean Up rules. However, the presentation never shows how he got to that feature as he had a preset on another tab that he just jumped over to. Could someone please tell me how to get there. My DTSaas does not have this at all for version: 1.138.124.20180223-155308. Has this feature been released yet?

Thanks,

David

I was able to determine where they are by looking in the documentation at:

https://www.dynatrace.com/support/help/user-experi...

I think this brings up a good feedback segue... Though I find your webinar's very useful I am often frustrated by not being able to follow you cursor in order to determine how you got from one screen to the next. If the key purpose of the presentation is to show how to easily to do something, then the action to doing it is relevant. Switching to a totally different tab as was done in this presentation left a huge gap in the understanding and recreating of the concept trying to be presented.

I do enjoy your webinars very much and would be at a loss without them, but I just wanted to give some feedback that would be hopefully helpful.

Thanks,

David

Hi David,

One tip that I have learned from using the product is to always pay attention the the breadcrumb trail in the Dynatrace menu. For example, here is the trail from the video you linked:

This shows that you can get there by going to a specific application (from the menu -> Applications -> www.easytravel.com in this case). Then, you can see that we went to settings for this particular application. Settings are always under the three dot or edit menu on an entity. Then you can see from within the application's specific settings, we are in User actions -> URL cleanup rule.

I think your feedback is still valid, however I wanted to give you a little tip/trick for finding these menus in the future.

Regards,

Hayden
