Network Traffic Size between OneAgent and Gateway/Server

Dear All,

We need the following information:

  • How much network traffic will be required between OneAgent and the Security Gateway/Dynatrace Server?
  • How much traffic will be required in case of Public Security Gateway?
  • What will be the Quality of Service e.g. Law, High, Normal?

Regards,

Babar

Apparently, it depends on a traffic rate processed (consumed + produced) by the instrumented application.

Strongly depends on number of agents and applications they monitor. Traffic should be constant. It's compressed, then Security Gateway packages and aggregates these and passes to the Server to process. Traffic should be distributed among all Security Gateways. So the more nodes you have, the less traffic is handled by a single Security Gateway.

Hello @Radoslaw S.

I understood that there is not any generic information available for the required bandwidth/traffic but can you tell me the Quality of Service e.g. Law, High, Normal?

Regards,

Babar
