Response time degraded incident with extended mail action plugin

Hello,

we are using the response time degraded incident alerting with the extended mail action plugin.

Now it is the case that we only receive the headline with a response time gets degraded but without any information about the incident itself.

Is it possible to configure those?

Already tried that plugin, did not work well at all. :-(

And it has not been updated since 4 years ...

SDK related to incidents and plugins is limited now. If you will try write something you will se that there is much more methods available to get data. Unfortunately those paths were dropped for support over years because of performance issues. Generally inicdent should contain information about message (the same that you see incidents dashboard) and sometimes if it is possible information about application, host, agent. Not all incidents contains the same information because root cause of them is different. If you have direct one that has lack of information, I don't have better idea than dashboard pushed as attachment.

Hello Sebastian,

another Dashboard would not be required, because what we try to get is i ticket in Jira system with those informations from the incident itseft. Do you still think this can help us out?

Actually jira has possibility to store attachments. You can change a little bit email notification plugin to store such information with report into Jira. As I remember there was ready to use Jira integration plugin

You can always create fork of this plugin to pass there any additional data you need, It is available on github. From plugin itself I think it is all. But what you can do also is preparation of dashboard connected to this incident. As I remember there is option in this plugin to attach report from related dashboard to such email.
