Hello,

Is there a best practice if you notice a memory leak that is visible by at the minor increase of the old-gen?

From Dynatrace perspective, you can set a threashold and dump the heap. Are there more tip and tricks?

Henk, Another approach is to take a dump before it grows, then another dump after it has grown and use a tool that can compare dumps. A variety of java memory dump tools in the market provide comparison capability. This approach can help determine the offending object that's consuming old-gen.
