What is the difference between session-replay and session-recording?

I am about to draft the limitation of browsers supported in Session-Replay to customer, then I came across this:


The supported browsers for these two thing are different. So I need to know what's the difference between session-recording and session-replay?

Session recording is tekstem to Browser on which you can record content for session replay. Session replays browsers are those on which you can play recording.
