Threads Utilization vs. OneAgent

Dear All,

We have a use case to share and understand the root cause of such type of issues. We had face a couple of times an issue related to the high utilization of threads causing problems to the application.

During the method analysis, we found that maximum threads are related to the Dynatrace Oneaget. Once we stopped the agent monitoring then problem solved.

I would like to more elloborate, that we faced these issues when there was a high load on the application and we do not face this issue in the normal/daily load.

What could be the expected reason behind this issue?

Regards,

Babar

Hello @Babar Q.
May we know which OS your agent is installed. We also faced similar issue but our OS was Solaris Solution - Made hotsensor placement manual (request attributes). Auto was causing high thread when traffic was high.

Cheers!

Hello @Ramesh N.

Thank you for sharing your personal experience. We also have the same OS (SUN Solaris). From where I can change these settings?

Babar
