Hi Ricardo,

for Sharepoint, yes you can totally monitor that with dynaTrace! It just runs in IIS and all you need to do is adding the agent to your IIS as described here: Connect Agent to dynaTrace

For Lync, what do you want to monitor in lync? You are not talking about the client side, right?

Hi Ricardo

When you talk about Mircrosoft Lync - are you talking about monitoring all your Lync traffic in your organization? If that is the case the Dynatrace Free Trial for Application Monitoring and User Experience Management is not the best choice - you should check out our Network Centric Solution called Dynatrace Data Center Real-User Monitoring: http://www.dynatrace.com/en/products/data-center-real-user-monitoring.html

For SharePoint your dynaTrace free trial is perfect. I've recently recorded a webinar where I show how to install dynaTrace on a Remote SharePoint server. Check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J4FbYIzixN8&list=PLqt2rd0eew1bmDn54E2_M2uvbhm_WxY_6&index=2 - also - check out some of the blogs we wrote on SharePoint: http://apmblog.compuware.com/?s=sharepoint

Let me know if you need any additional help. I am currently working on a How-To Analyze SharePoint blog with dynaTrace that should be done in the next couple of days. I am happy to share the first draft with you

Andi

I'm new to DynaTrace, doing a trial here to see if it fits the organization needs.

Does anyone know how I can monitor Microsoft Lync and Microsoft Sharepoint 2013 applications with Dynatrace?
