Scheduled reports question

I have report scheduled to run overnight. Last night, first scheduled run, the report was sent blank. Does the dashboard have to be open to run the report? It works fine when I manually run the report in the dashboard.

I cannot think of other reasons why it does not work for you here. Can you please open a support-case at https://support.dynatrace.com/ so we can look at details.

Thanks for your help!

Everything I'm needing in the report is included in the report details. I'm emailing the report in Excel.  When I manually run the report from the dashboard, I get all data needed.

Corey,

what happens if you don't email the report but also save it as a file on the server?
You can set this in the report schedule. is this file also empty?

Hi,

You can also check if the server-generated report works if you access it via the Web pages available at http://localhost:8020 under "View Dashboards & Reports".

Corey,

scheduled reports are server generated so there is no need for the dashboard to be open. However it needs to be stored on the server.

Can you please check if those dashlets you want to be in the report are included in the report settings (Dashboard Properties -> Reporting -> details).
Also what Format are you using for the report?
What happens if you trigger the schedule manually from the report setting in the client?
