Hi,
Our Dynatrace Admin person is on vacation for a month. Before he left, he installed the Dynatrace Client on one of our Production Application Servers. It is causing the application server to crash. This is a Red Hat linux Client system. I have next to no experience with Dynatrace.
How do we turn the Dynatrace Client off on this Production Application Server? Is there a standard start/stop script used for the Client process? We've looked and can't find anything. Does the Dynatrace Client run as a service that we can stop with a "service ?(dynatrace_process) stop/start"?
We really need to get this Dynatrace Client turned off right away.
Help!
Thanks very much for your time and consideration.

Hi
Are you sure you are talking about the dynaTrace client? this would be a rich client java process that you could simply close or kill.
If you are experiencing problems with your system and if killing the client process doesnt solve the problem I recommend getting in-touch with our support by opening a support ticket: http://support.dynatrace.com
