Hi,
We know that the Agent Overview will give us the details of all agent instances connected to the DynaTrace server. Each Java agent instance is consuming one java license but it is not the case with .net agents which are per host. Is there a report or dashboard in DynaTrace that will provide the license usage details? If not it would be nice to have such a report in DynaTrace.
Thanks,
Sreerag

Hi Andi,
Not sure if i got the question right, i was looking for license usage details of each type of agents. Currently to get the .net licenses in use we are manually counting the hosts of .net agents from agent overview dashboard. Please guide us if there is an easier way to get these license information from dynatrace.

I guess it was my mistake in getting your question wrong. There is no built-in feature that allows monitoring your license usage per agent type. But - please have a look at the following post: Monitoring usage of AP licenses

dynaTrace has a built-in self-monitoring system profile. It provides several measures that allow you to see how many agents you have connected.
To chart these measures do the following
1) create a new dashboard
2) change the data source to "dynaTrace Self-Monitoring"
3) add a chart
4) when adding measures search for "Agent"
