Hi.
We are running a Test Centre Edition (v4.1) in our development environment. In the Profile > General > Technology area of this installation, only .NET Enterprise is presented. It may be that we initially didn't select the others with the original install. We would very much like to get some metrics working via the Browser agents, and this appears to require the JavaScript, Rendering and Network sensor packs...
My questions are:
Is there any licensing limitation that would prevent the Browser technology type from appearing here (I guess not, as I've not seen it mentioned anywhere in the docs)?
If not, how are the other technology types enabled / installed in order to select them as part of a system profile?
Thanks
Piers

Hi Piers
In order to get Browser Diagnostics support you need a Browser Agent License - this is independant of your Edition. Based on what you tell me it seems that you have .NET Agent Licenses (Windows Enterprise/Datacenter Edition Licenses) but probably no Browser Licenses
Once you have a Browser Agent License you will then be able to turn on that additional check box in the System Profile. Best option to configure the Browser Agent is to use our "start dynaTracing" Wizard. Either launch it through the Start Center or through the Context Menu on the System Profile -> Connect Application. This Wizard will a) enable the missing TechType b) create a new Agent Group/Tier c) enable the correct Sensor Packs
Hope this helps

Just to correct myself, we have 1 Dev Team (CI) License and 3 Dev Team (Advanced Profiling) Licenses, not Test Centre as I suggested above.
Also - The "Analyze Performance > Analyze Browser Performance" option in the Start Center Wizard is greyed out.
