Network time

I would like to create a report that could depict the execution time of an entry point in processing time, network time and client time.

Hi

Network Time is only available with User Experience Management where Network Time is the time between the Browser and the Web Server. Is that what you want - or are you refering to Network Time between your server-side components, e.g: Frontend-Server to Backend-Server?

Hi Andreas,

Thank you for replying. Besides the network time in the User Experience Management, I am also interested in the Network Time between the server-side components.

Anoh Brou

Right now we do not provide the network time between server-side components as measures. In the Transaction Flow you can see how much Inter-Tier time you have. This time is the time between the outgoing Client-Side call (of a e.g: a Web service) and the time when it is processed on the Server-Side Implementation. This time is "as close as possible" to the Network Time but also includes time executed on both components used for e.g: Data Marshalling, ...

Thank you very much. What is real definition of "Sync Time". I am getting two different confusing definitions:

1) Sync time = "Time the method spent waiting for monitors"

2) Sync time = "Time spent by a method from this API, without nested calls to methods of other APIs"

Which one is it? Where can I get a clear definition of that term?

Regards,
Anoh Brou

Is the sync time affected by the configuration of the sensors?
