Incidents are triggered by Measure Values that exceed the defined Threshold. So - if you have a measure that indicates whether a monitor "fails" or not then this should be possible.
All you need to do is to set the Evaluation Timeframe to e.g: 10 seconds and the aggregation column of the measure to "Last". That makes sure that dynaTrace automatically evaluates the last measured value that is returned by your monitor and then triggers the incident. hope this makes sense.
