Hi
We have a customer who is planning to install SiteCelerate to improve thier site performance. This is a device is placed before load balancer. This means first they will have SiteCelerate -> load Balancer -> Web Cache Softwares -> Web Servers -> then the rest. This caches the static content of the site.
How will our UEM function in this scenerio. I know the the function of UEM in a cloud CDN environment. Will it be similar.

Hi Klaus
Below are the logs from the device, if we see at the end of the device we can see a .GZ added. And we can see a TCP_MISS, could this be causing a syntax error for the URL. What is your suggestion on this.

Hi Klaus
We ran this and we were able to the data. However for some of the dynaTraceMonitor POST calls we saw the device was adding gzip extention at the end.
While I know dynaTrace will not understand this call. Technically how extactly will dynaTrace deal with this call. Please help me in understanding this.

Nalin
Hi Nalin,
Not sure if I got you right. The device adds a gzip extention to the request we are sending to server? That would not make sense. Or is it the response where the gzip gets added? if this happens there is no impact as the response is so small that gzip is not applied.
What you have to make sure in case you have bandwidth detection turned on is that the images we retrieve from the server are not compressed or changed in any way by SiteCelerate. This would cause errors in our calculations.
Cheers Klaus

Hi,
If the whole thing is setup as you described it. It should work. I have never tested it but as we are injecting on the Web Server the html with the agent injected agent will be cached by SiteCelerate.
Two things that you have to investigate.
Cheers Klaus
