Measure for charting "Passing Transactions"

Hello,

When we drill down from transaction flow to "Show Application Process" we see a graph for passing transactions...if we had to chart that separately what measure should we use?

End goal is to replicate Application Process view for reporting purposes.

Thanks,
Srikar

The passing transactions uses the ‘count backend’ measure filtered by visualized agent.

You can find it in the measures tree ‘server side performance’ -> ‘transaction base measures’ -> ‘tier subpaths’ -> ‘Count Backend’

Thanks Mike, Andi...the Web Req count helped...although not sure why the purepath count (aggregation changed to count, split by agent name / host) doesn't seem to work...meaning count constantly shows value as 1...also it doesn't matter which purepath based metric we use / splits we use. Here is a screen shot.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the help.

Which exact measure did you use for PurePath Count? As in, where does it fall on the Measure tree? You should be selecting Server-Side Performance -> Transaction-Based Measures -> PurePath -> PurePath Response Time

Yup that's the one. It works fine on my local install with easyTravel, doesn't at my client...I will probably open a support ticket.

"Web Requests - Count" will work well. The actual measure we use for "Passing Transaction" is however the count of PurePaths. To chart that value you can take any PurePath Measure, e.g: PurePath Duration. In the chart you can then change the aggregation level from "Avg" to "Count". This should give you what you want

Srikar,

I believe what your looking for Web Requests - Count under Transaction based measures and split by Agent or whatever works best for you.

Thanks,
Mike
