Hello All,
I have updated in a customer from version 4.1 to version 5.0
Once this has been done I have lost all the metrics from GC, and the message in the log of the agents is the following:
warning native Recording gc times has been disabled due to overhead issues. Recording can be enabled with the 'gctimes=true' option.
Where do I have to put this option to reactivete the metrics?
Thank you

In the agent string of the JVM argument.
i.e.
-agentpath:<path>/libdtagent.so=name=java_agent,server=mydtserver,gctimes=true
Richard, do you know if this is a 5.0-only behavior?
I ask because we have almost 1000 Java agents here and it will be quite troublesome to change and restart every single JVM, was wondering if this is an issue with how our environment is configured.
Thanks.
As it says this is due to instrumentation, so it is possible the sensors you have placed are causing too much overhead. Can you attach a sample session?
