We upgraded our Test Center Edition from 4.2 to 5.5 over the weekend and noticed the Collector view inside the dynaTrace Server Settings is exremely slow. After about 5 minutes the view is fast. We have about 13 Collectors servicing Agents and about 100 dedicated for plugin monitoring. Is this view slow for anyone else or is there a way we can speed this up?

We also have 31 collectors and run into the same problem as well. Hiding the column does appear to help with the performance. But having the # of connected agents listed is helpful. Are there any plans to address this performance issue in future releases?

We have about 31 collectors and hit the same issue; it was not usable. Support was very helpful and suggested turning off (hiding) the column that shows the number of connected agents to each collector. We permanently hid that column and performance is now back to the 4.x experience. Nice feature when you need it, but nice to be able to keep the old performance.

Hi Derek,
according to R&D the high number of connected collectors might have an adverse effect here. Could you please open a support ticket for this?
Thanks,
Wolfgang
