Hi,
I was monitoring our dynaTrace deployment and had a look at the Measure Health dashboard. I found that one measure was significantly above the others:
Wanting to know more about this measure, I expected to do a drill-down one any data point:
However, the Business Transactions Dashboard that was opened as a result of my drill-down is completely empty:
What is going on here? I've got a dashboard that plots over 250k hits on a measure, and when I drill-down no data is found?
Thanks for your help,
Alexandre

Thank you for you answer. Indeed, the data source does not change automatically. I can understand why it is that way, but the behavior is kind of weird in regards to what one would expect.
Anyway, I was just looking at that dashlet as the documentation states that the "Deployment Dashboards are an essential part of tuning, running and optimizing dynaTrace deployments". That's why I was touring these dashlets, trying to get a feel if our deployment is as its best or if it could be better.
For instance, the documentation says that "the average PurePath length should not exceed 300 for production,". Ours is 100k... that's one thing I will need to investigate further
Again, thank you.

Before I get to the complete answer I want to say that doing the following without changing the timeframe will cause a lot of analysis that likely does not need to be done, causing a heavy workload on your server.
The source of the dashboard does not change automatically. The source of the Measure Health dashboard is "dynaTrace Self-Monitoring" and the source of the BT you're looking for is the system profile you've blurred out. Looking at this dashboard with the correct source for the last 72hours will analyze all PurePaths for their tags. You are better off creating a chart and adding that Business Transaction as the series to determine what's happening.
That being said, are you investigating a performance issue with your Performance Warehouse (dynaTrace Database)? The measure health dashboard is supposed to help diagnose such issues, but if you're not having any this is likely not a problem. Also if you look at that Business Transaction, is it set to store in the Performance Warehouse (this setting is called something different depending on your version, but is a checkbox at the top of the Business Transaction edit screen).
