Hi All,
We have just started a project that is using the environment used during the POV and we came across an Application showing 81 Business Transaction on App Overview on the "Monitoring" dashboard.
I have searched the Business Transaction configuration for this screem and I can see that the BT User Actions by Apdex performance zone and Country is configured there. The problem is that this BT is greyed out son changing this configuration is not possible. I have checked several other customers environments and this does not comes selected by default.
Does anybody know how to change this configuration? I need to remove that checkbox as this BT is generating a lot of splitts with empty values for the App Overview screen.
Thanks a lot for your help,
Best regards,
Igor

Andreas,
Actualy I don't want this BT to show or to be calculated. What I wanted was to remove the configuration that was there for no reason. I have checked other customers environment and this BT comes active by defaul but no included on the App Overview. The trick I did was only to get back to default behaviour. As this was a POV environment not sure what configuration during POV activated this configuration. I have checked with the FTS rep that did the POV and he told me no configuration has been made to activate this.
Hope the situation is a little more clear now.
Regards,
Igor

Hi Igor
There is a reason why we do not allow BTs with multiple splittings. So - finding a workaround that "tricks" dynaTrace in putting it on the AppOverview may not result in the desired outcome. So - please verify that dynaTrace actually shows data for this BT - and - check out if the individual splittings show up in the way you want it to show up. If I were you I would first ask the question what the customer really wants to get baselined. Then figure out which BT you need to address that requirement.
In your case I assume what will happen is that you get one baseline for each of the 3 Apdex values (frustrated, tolerated, satisfied) and individual baselines for the countries. You wont get it for the cross product, e.g: "satisfied US", "frustrated US", ...

Both of your answers make sense, however we solved this through another way.
I had set tihs BT to incative, saved the system profile and got back to that configuration. The BT was still greyed out, and checked. we went back to the System Profile and activated the BT again. When we got to the configutation again it was unchecked.
I believe this is solved, not sure of what made that option checked as this was the POV environment, but issue is solved.
Thanks a lot for your help.

Hi.
You can select those PurePath and User Action Business Transactions that have Response Time and Faillure Rate as Result Measure selected as well as have a maximum of one Split Measure besides the Application splitting. Visit-based BTs and those that dont return those result measures that we use for Baselining will show up in Grey.
In your case you try to select a BT that has multiple splittings. That is not supported as we dont baseline on the cross product of each splitt value.
Makes sense?
