Hi,
I have created a BT which includes the DB time in the filter section. I have added this BT for monitoring so that it gets the baseline of sql time and alerts based on the violation settings. That was my assumption. Looks like it is alerting based on response times of purepaths which includes those sqls.
One thing i can do is create a custom alert with hard coded thresholds but i am wondering if we can auto baseline the sql times as well and alert on them?

The automatic baselining works on Response Time and Failure Rate only in the moment. We will extend it to other measures as well - but in the moment it is limited to these measures.
So - if you want to have alerting you have to go with the "static" thresholds
Thanks Andi. Another question around this, i have created a BT which has 3rd party calls (for sending mail, validating fraud, etc). These are not entry points and checkout purepaths contain these calls. So whenever there is a violation, it does not necessarily mean that 3rd party calls are the culripts. Even if other factors cause to have high times, we get an alert which is misleading as i have the BT as 3rd party calls. My intention is to alert on only when 3rd party calls resp time goes up but not when resp goes up for purepaths which contain 3rd party calls. Do we need to use static thresholds here too? or do you see any alternative here?
