Hello!
We would like to know how the recommended way to boot up apache server setup dynaTrace 5.5 on a server, Red hat linux 64 bit.
Our facility is:
DynaTrace Agent v. 5.5 -> installed with root user
Apache Server -> installed with root user
We have created an "apache user" to manage apache server application.
On the other hand we start apache system with user "apache" and "sudo" command - Then we have the following situation:
"" Parent process started with user "root" and sons (threads) with the user "apache"
This configuration is recommended? Is there better alternative?
** there are some logs that appear as apache user (threads files) and others as root.
Thanks and Regards.
Alex.

Hi Alex
I just confirmed with engineering that your approach works well and is also used by some of our customers. And - because your two processes run with two different user accounts it is normal that you get log files with two different creators
