Incident Downtimes

We are trying to determine if the Incident Downtime implementation is working correctly or if we maybe don't understand it correctly.

We defined an incident downtime trying to stop incidents from midnight on Friday until 6 am Monday morning. So we incidicated the at the incident is for weekend days, starting at 12:00 am, and going for 36 hours. But this morning at 9:00 am EST the incident block was still in affect.

Any thoughts on best practices around this, and any guidance (if any) on how to understand more about how DT will ultimately interpret the downtime windows? (i.e. ending at 6:00 am, etc.)

Hi James

When you say weekend day it would be saturday and sunday. The question is whether sunday midnight will be considered midnight from sat->sun or from sun->mon. If the latter is the case then I assume the downtime will be in affect until tuesday NOON, otherwise it should run until Monday NOON (midnight + 36 hours = 1 day + 12 hours)
