Hi all
I just found the page about the Browser Performance Report within the documentation. That's exactly what I was looking for. But ... I don't see any data. So I'm in our profile, go to "Diagnose Browser" and then to "Browser Performance Report". I even changed form "Show Pages" to "User-defined Timers". The Client is doing something and as soon as it is ready I see nothing. Looking at the tab "User Experience" we have the Timeline for several parts of the page. But no data. It does not look like described in the documentation. I have clicked on "Compare yourself against SpeedoftheWeb Index" and updated the index - nothing.
All I get is the prompt where it says "Start full analysis to get a result based on all transactions", which leads to - again - nothing.
Am I missing something? Do I have to switch something on so I will get data?

Ah, Thanks. Yes the download ink worked. Although it really does only work in IE - not in Firefox.
But nonetheless it would be really nice to have this neat feature working on a Mac machine as well. At least in our company all engineers are working on Macs ...

Well - thats not what you expect when clicking on a download link. We just moved data centers and I will check with the team if there is a problem with this specific link out of the dynaTrace Client. In the meantime you can go here https://downloads.compuwareapm.com/downloads/download.aspx?p=DT and then download the "all dynaTrace Agents for Windows (including browser and web server agents). Run that installer on your windows machine.
As for Mac support: right now it is not planned. There is no IE on Mac

Yes, that's true. I'm using a Mac. Will it somehow, sometimes also be available for Macs? Would be great!
I tried to install a tier on a Windows machine. After clicking the "Download" button, I will be redirected to the download section. First thing I see is an "Oops" error. So I hit the reload link. Now I see a Download link - that leads to another error. And No, I haven't changed any parameters ... What's happening here?
And then:

Thanks Andreas!
Following the instruction, unfortunately I ran into this problem where I can only create a new tier on the remote machine. Should I bother my sysop? And how much?
Best

Let me take a guess (based on the screenshot): Your client runs on Mac?
We only support the browser plugins for IE and FF on Windows. Thats why you only have the Remote Machine Option. However - you can still go ahead and create that tier. Selecting REmote Machine will allow you to download the agent installer which you can later use to install on a windows machiene (physical or virtual doesnt matter). In that remote machine you can then install the plugin and connect your Browser to your dynaTrace Collector/Server by clicking on the connect icon in the dynaTrace Browser Agent TOolbar which will show up in your browser.

Hi Nils
In order for this dashboard to show data you need our Browser Agent. The Browser Agent is the browsers native plugin that we offer for IE and FF. It will collect much more data than our JavaScript Agent we use for User Experience Management (UEM).
Check out our recorded webinar available on youtube that shows how this needs to be setup: dynaLearn Webinar - Browser Diagnostics - March 14, 2012
