dynatrace Popup not getting focus

6.0.0I have seen the following at two clients now. Every other popup, opens behind the window that you clicked on. If maximized, you have to kill client. Start client again this time not maximized, click on drill down e.g. measures. Then click on create measures. This screen is hidden under the measures screen. Drag from behind measures screen and complete. This happened both times on a WebEx. The focus remains on the screen you were busy with and not the new screen.

Hi Ed. Maybe this is realted to what is described in the latest Tech Alert around Java 7 Update 65 & 67. Can you check which Java Version the clients used? Technical Alerts dynaTrace DATM

Both clients are using fat Client only

One has Java version 7 update 67. and the other says 1.7.0_25.

Hi Ed. I forwarded this to the engineering team. They have not seen this behavior nor were they able to repdroduce this with the Java versions you listed. Can you create a support ticket for this including the support archive which will contain the client logs.

Hi Ed,

During some recent training sessions we observed this type of behavior when using the dynaTrace client and WebEx. It does not seem to occur when not using WebEx, so it appears to be some strange interaction between WebEx and the Eclipse UI framework.

I also see this problem regularly with 6.0.0.7000

Next time, I'll collect a support archive ...
