I must have missed something simply but vital in order to use the UI.
I downloaded the latest available version, installed it , connected my device(s) (Samsung Galaxy S5 and Samsung Note 10.1) but then the UI didn't populate the list of applications to chose from.
Can't see anything peculiar in the UI log
Running this on Windows 8.1
Do I need to install anything else in order to get access to the Apps on my device or does the device need to be rooted/ some other security setting needed on device?
I have extracted APKs - can I put them somewhere so the UI can use those directly?

Hi Kristian. I forwarded this to the engineering team and hope that they will respond soon

Hi
The installer should provide everything needed. The "Local File" tab under "Select Applications" will give you the chance to point to a local folder on your computer which contains your APKs.

I cannot select anything in the "Select Applications" section - everything is greyed out.

I just installed the Auto-Instrumentation UI on a windows 7 VMWare - same effect.

The screen shot above shows that a valid Monitoring Server URL has not yet been provided If you provide one and hit TEST, do you get the same result?
