Hi,
In order to optimize our system, and improve the retention time, I was wondering if there's a way to get statistic of the number of purepath in the disk storage for each serveur ?
With these data, I could easily guide my tunning in the configuration of most consumer server,
I look in the self-monitoring content of Dynatrace but there no splitting by serveur (Ideally I'd like to do this on a particular sytem profile)
Thanks,

Hi
Which Server you mean "dynaTrace Server"? I assume so as you also mentioned that it would be best to split it by System Profile
If you want to know the number of PurePaths per System Profile you can create a chart and put the meausure "PurePath Response Time" on it. Then change the aggreagation of that measure to "Count". This will now show you the number of PurePaths that came in over time on that System Profile.
If you then click on the Details dialog of your System Profile in the Cockpit you see how long back in time you have purepaths in your Cont. Session. You then just need to adjust your chart to that timeframe and sum up the PurePath counts. If you change the Chart Resolution to the highest available option it will also be easier as you have fewer data points
Hope this helps
Hi Andreas, (Are you the only one working on this company, you always answer all messages ... )
Of course it helps me, it's not excatly what I wanted (I'd like it by agent server) but your method works great, it gives me the breakdown of the number of server PurePath Register.
I can well see the most consumer server and I can next see if the configuration is not too greedy!
Sorry, I should have thought alone (But It's Monday morning)
Thanks a lot.

Hi Thomas
One more thought: check the Agents Overview dashlet. There you get an overview per agent which includes a column called Total PurePath Count.

P.S.: Try to do my best to help
