UEM Browser Name Calculation

Greetings,

I am interested in how the UEM agent detects the browser name. At one of my clients, they are attempting to alleviate and possible POODLE concerns by restricting SSL v3. They would like to know if their findings are accurate or if the end user is manipulating the user-agent. So, does our UEM agent invoke some JavaScript on the browser side to pull in the various metrics such as browser name and OS or does it simply use the user-agent?

We pull that information based on the User-Agent HTTP Header
