Incomplete SQL Query (cut off) Within Node Details View

Hi there,

we got a serious issue with the Node Details View within the PurePath node. If the executed SQL Query is too long it cuts off. I can see two and a bit of the third pages in the Node Details view (Select Node -> Details). Since the most interesting part of the query (orderby) part is missing, we need to ask the Database gurus to look up the Query (hash) and return us the complete statement. That is costing a lot of extra afford and calculating the costs of the additional amount of time and also the waiting time it gives me a chill.

Is there a chance to somehow increase the number of characters of the SQL Query in the Details View? Is it a problem with the view or does the sensor/Agent recording this information cuts it off while recording the information?

Thanks.

Hi,

Please edit your System Profile, expand the relevant Agent Group in the lower-left corner, select "Sensor Configuration" and find either JDBC (for Java) or ADO.NET (for .NET) and click "properties".  here you can set the length of the SQL string to capture, then press OK, Apply, OK.

HTH,

Rick B
