When I view my global conversation rate, it looks as I'd expect it to. However, when I add a splitting, it appears to divide the conversation rate by 100; e.g. the maximum conversation rate I can see is 1. Here is a graph showing an example of this. The red line is the global conversation rate and the small mess of insignificant lines at the bottom are my split conversation rates (by browser type, but this occurs with any splitting).
I am relatively certain in my assertion that the split conversion rates are divided by 100. Is this intentional or something I'm doing? I'd like to understand if the conversation data is accurate when split.

No promises, but can you check something? Edit Your System Profile, go to Measures -> Business Transactions -> Visits by Browser Family -> Conversion Rate (edit) -> Details (tab) and look at the unit in the upper right. Does it say "number" or "percent"? Try setting this to percent.

Good thinking! I checked and "Unit" is greyed out, however "calculate percentile" data is checked. Is it possible I'm reporting on a percentile of a measure that's already a percentile? I tried it and didn't notice any changes in the past few minutes.
Here's what it looks like:
