Hyper-V monitor + dashboards

Hi
Have any of you guys done some work on monitoring the Hyper-V host + guest systems via perfmon?
Would be nice if there already is someone who has gathered information/experience and has created dashboards + the monitor metric group plugin for monitoring Hyper-V perfmon counters.

Best regards
Rasmus

Hi,

This was not done before, did you by any chance create dashboards and measures for this in the mean time?

Thanks
Mike

Hi Michael,

No we have not created anything yet.

Are dynaTrace planning on an integration like the one we have for vmWare??

Best Regards

Troels

That depends on the demand. You might want to create an RFE to support Hyper V

Just to keep track, we're working with a prospect (Denver Water) who is interested in Hyper-V monitoring, specifically "Hyper-V Cluster monitoring: show us how you can monitor the health of the Quorum drive, Cluster Shared Volumes, and overall cluster health, load balancing guests etc".

Hi

I'm at a client looking to migrate from VMWare to Hyper-V and so would find a Hyper-V solution useful.

I would be highly interested as well, we have a large environment we want monitor but have no way of correlating the hyper v VMs to the tenant.
