More than 500 Java Agents - Synthetic Dahsboard for Agent Memory Trending
Build a dashboard for % Memory Usage measure and for more than 500 Agent (splitted) is non realistic !
The main gaol is to follow general memory trend for all these JVM and to anticipate (Capacity planning issues).
The idea is to use Agent % Memory Usage with threshold and than to use the Dyanmic Measure Dashlet...
So you can sort it by the measure and get the TOP ten related to your measure and so you can drill down to one specific Agent to analyse and decide what action should be done.
Question : Is this strategy correct ? Have you got some other better ideas / strategies ?
I have also explored the Incident filter in the DashBoard filter... I thought it should display only the agent / measure having an exceeded threshold... But no effect...

For that many agents the dynamic measure matrix makes sense. We are currently investing in dashboarding to also better support these use cases. I will forward this to our engineering team as an additional input
