Synthetic alert integration with Appmon 6.5

Hi Folks,

I would like to integrate the alerts of https://portal.dynatrace.com with AppMon 6.5

Is there a way to achieve this?

I'm not sure the need for this, as anything that Synthetics alerts on, AppMon could be configured to alert as well, but then that gives you two alerts for the same thing.

A better approach is to simply drill down into the AppMon data for a given Synthetic-detected issue and explore the root cause.

An alternate approach, any AppMon dashboard (Thick or Web) can be configured to simply be a web portal into another website, Which in this case could be the portal.dynatrace.com system. This would give you visibility of both systems on a single pane of glass.

Hi Joe Thanks for the reply.

This integration is important since there's need to detect the availability of the webpage and the steps on it. If the synth mon fails on any of the steps, the customer wants to be alerted about that and be able to concentrate these alerts on theirs own environment

There is no way to integrate the alerts from AppMon and Synthetic.
If the customer has another enviroment to deal with alerts, you could configure both alerts from appmon and Synthetic to send an email or SNMP traps to their env.
