Could you be more specific on what you are trying to achieve?
If you want to chart percentiles, you can use the percentile chart type. Also make sure that the measure you are trying to chart has percentiles enabled as this is not the default for new measures.

Can you post snapshot of what you tried to plot? Note: That Not all aggregations(avg, sum, min, max...) are applicable to every type of metric(count, response, rate, etc) you are trying to plot. So you have to be careful what you are trying to plot.
