Swithing from a local user account to Windows Authenticated for a SQL PW in 7.1

Has anybody out there made the switch from using a local user account for connecting to a SQL Performance Warehouse to using a Windows Authenticated account? According to the doc's that I can find, it says the dtserver.ini file needs a SQLSERVERFDOMAIN line added, and the dtfrontendserver.ini file needs the lines below added.

-Dcom.dynatrace.diagnostics.SQLSERVERUSENTLMV2=true
-Dcom.dynatrace.diagnostics.SQLSERVERDOMAIN=<domain>

Then update the connection details in the Performance Warehouse settings of course.

Curious if there were any gotcha's or if it was that simple for you.

Hello @Todd R.

There should not be an issue. Just make sure the user must be able to select, insert, delete, update, and truncate on all tables that AppMon creates. Restart both services after modification.

Babar
