does 7.2 have a Self Monitoring collector?

I've installed 7.2 server and now i see a new 'Self Monitoring' collector in server settings.
This is definitely not a collector i have created, and I don't even have a windows service for it.
I suspect this might have been caused by the migration util, but still have no idea what has run this collector.

Is this a new feature? Couldn't find docs for it anywhere.

Even I'm wondering why Dynatrace self monitoring - collector is there under collector server.

But it seems to be available only on 7.2

Also we see few runtime binary, oneagentjava.dll, oneagentloader.dll & oneagentjava.jar file available in it.

One timer task is running --> "send custom propertiesmsg" every 15min taking 12s to execute. Not sure why?

Cheers!!

To be sure I’ve never found self-monitoring collector in settings but in general there should be something that will collect metrics from built in monitoring. It is working together with server process I think and you don’t have to bother about it.
