Creating a measure for a database SQL statement in V4

We would like to allow users to right-mouse click on a database query (from the Databases dashlet) and subscribe to a query measure from that screen. I thought we could do that in V3.5.2, but for some reason the menu choice doesn't appear for me in V4. We could do it directly by going into the profile, but that isn't as convenient.

What am I missing?

Hi James

As we have totally rewritten the Database Dashlet it seems that this option has been removed in V4. I've created a RFE to get this functionality back as it really seems like a good shortcut

As a workaround, from the database dashlet, drill into purepaths that execute that database query. Then select the execution, right click and then select "Subscribe Measures"

On the topic of Database Query Measures, can I create a measure on a Query Parameter. For example If I have a query parameter as Account No and I want to group transactions by Account No, can I do it?

Hi Rajesh

A Measure on SQL bind values is currently not supported. You can only create measures based on the SQL Statement
