Hi,
I am building a traffic light for an exception with a warning level at 1 and a severe level at 3. This exception has not occurred, but instead of getting a green light, the light remains grey. Is there a way to set the light to show green when it is not receiving any data?
Thank you,

Hi Erik,
If you create a new Incident rule (Edit System Profile > Incidents) and add your exception count measure as the condition, you should be able to use an "Incident Chart" to do exactly what you're looking for. This will also allow you to do additional things automatically in case of the exception occurrence, including sending an email or taking a thread/memory dump.

Thanks, Rick.
I was able to create the traffic light I needed this way. However, it has a different shape than the other traffic lights on the dashboard. This one has a square bottom instead of a rounded bottom. The others were made from measures instead of incidents. Is there a way to get this traffic light to have a rounded bottom like the others?

Hi Erik,
No, there is no way of changing that. The reason why it has a different shape at the bottom is that this bottom rectangle shows the incident state for the dashboard timeframe (e.g. have there been incidents in the last 30 minutes - even if the top is green since no incident is currently open).
Best, Roman
