Hi All,
I have been questioned at customer site about how we should setup the Synthetic tests against the Office365 services, especially Outlook and SharePoint.
Regarding the Outlook the biggest challenge is that most users use the desktop client instead of browser to access the application. Are there ways to mimic to behavior of the client in a better way as just accessing the mailbox from browser doesn't fully replicate this behavior? In addition, the effect of the Wipro Live Workplace is not represented this way. Does anyone have any experience with testing the Live Workplace performance in relation or as a separate topic?
For SharePoint, the main question is the file access and downloading files from SharePoint. Is there a recommended way to test downloading files that one should follow when creating a test?
Kind regards
Anton

Hello @Shikha Y. , You can use Enterprise Synthetic to record and launch anything :
1) You launch IE to run Web based applications.
2) If you want to launch a thick client like POSTMAN , you can use Launchapp function.
In short , you can open any software/client present on your windows server.
If you are not aware about functions , you can simply start recording and perform the steps (to launch a thick client and all other steps ) and then you can see what functions have been picked up by the recorder.
You can refer the Enterprise Synthetic Framework documentation for details and feel free to ask further questions
