We've been having a lot of issues running some of our Backbone tests via the Instant Test Service (http://gpn.webservice.gomez.com/gpninstanttestservice_40/GpnInstantTestService.asmx -> RunMonitorFromId). The instant tests that run successfully through the Dynatrace Portal will always fail via the SOAP Instant Test Service with a somewhat vague error message:
"Exception writing to request stream. EXC=Unable to connect to the remote server"
Can someone please provide some guidance as to what we may be doing wrong? I can provide more details (script id, node id, etc) if needed.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

We were advised by development that the SOAP Instant Test webservice call via gpn.webservice.gomez.com doesn;t work with the Common Agent architecture that all backbone nodes are converted to and there isn't support under REST API yet. So the option at this time for running Instant test would be from backbone nodes through the portal > Diagnostics.
All other SOAP API calls work on Common Agent-backbone nodes except Instant Test.
