Please join us in congratulating Dave M., the Dynatrace Employee Member of the Month for February 2019!

Dave is an Architect with Dynatrace Expert Services and has been with Dynatrace since 2014. He spends most of his time travelling to customers, mainly in the US. Sometimes Dave visits other locations too, such as Malaysia, Canada, or Qatar, where he helps get the most value possible from the Dynatrace SaaS/Managed and AppMon software.

As Dave says, he’s especially passionate about “helping customers get started “from scratch”, ideally from the initial install phase to learning how to use the exciting new monitoring data they now can access”. Dave loves Dynatrace’s ease of installation and the quick time to value with full stack monitoring and AI.

You may know Dave from the AppMon and Dynatrace forums as he eagerly helps others. In January, Dave made into the top 10 Community users for the current month!

Dave contributes to the Dynatrace Community for two main reasons:

“It’s my way of connecting with customers that I may not see “in the field” and providing some help and guidance when I can based on my experience. It isn’t totally altruistic however, as I also gain a ton of valuable knowledge by reading questions and answers, also.”

What Dave likes best about the Community, is its spirit:

“I like the spirit of everyone pitching in to the best of their ability and trying to solve real problems and learn from each other.”

Dave’s main hobbies lately are “international travel, learning/playing piano, playing online “correspondence chess” on gameknot.com, and trying to stay fit with cycling/hiking/cardio/weights and similar activities”.

Dave, thank you for building the Dynatrace Community into a valuable place for all Dynatrace users!

Once again, congratulations!

I cant say enough about this man. He helped us get Dynatrace off the ground and still corresponds with me still. He made the transition fun and insightful. This man goes above and beyond and deserves employee and friend of the century! Dynatrace is very, very lucky to have Dave. I cant help but think about Dave every time I hear Billy Idol sing Money Money. <inside joke>

Love ya Dave, your deserve it buddy. Cant wait to see you again.

John
