This time, our Community Member of the Month comes from the sunny Spain. The winner for March 2020 is... @jose antonio r.! Our users know him as a very curious person, who always tries to find the best solutions for his clients. Let's read what his history is with Dynatrace and our Community forum.

Can you tell a little bit about your professional life? Where do you work and what do you do in your job?

I’m a Computer Systems Technical Engineer with an experience of over 10 years in monitoring and tuning Java applications. I’m currently working for GFI Spain partner within Application performance management (APM) consulting team. We work for clients from various sectors such as banking, insurance, industry, or education. We help them with system installations, integrations, performance analysis, or doing specific workshops for them.

What is your story with Dynatrace? Why did you start using our products and for what project?

I got to know the “Dynatrace world” three years ago. Since then, I’ve specialized in NAM, AppMon, and Dynatrace, offering our clients support for analysis on infrastructure performance. And in shaping their monitoring tools as well. We are focused mainly on improving their experience with tools and providing better results in analysis.

Have you ever had any interesting use case for Dynatrace product that you found out to be particularly intriguing? Could you tell us about it?

My favorite feature is looking for the root cause of any problem which may arise and analyzing it. Dynatrace helps bring us success towards our client's businesses.

What brought you to our community? What is your best memory about it?

Especially since there are terms, concepts or technologies used by clients, that I’m not very familiarised with. The forum provides the answers that I cannot find in the documentation and goes one step further than Dynatrace One chat, thanks to sharing knowledge with others and learning together.

And how about your life outside the IT – what is your biggest passion?

I enjoy spending my free time doing outdoor sports – such as climbing, hiking or running regularly. I’ve always loved music and I enjoy going to rock concerts. What’s more: I was even a member of the rock group. But I don’t play anymore. My taste in music is very varied and differs, depending on my mood or time of the day. These days, I’m hooked on “Band of Horses”, a blend of American folk and rock music. I’d like to recommend to everybody this song:

It would also be great if you could share with us your favorite movie, song and/or a book. Let other Community members discover something new and interesting to watch/hear/read 🙂

The last book I´ve read is “The discovery of slowness” (Die Entdeckung der Langsamkeit) by Sten Nadolny. It helped me to change my view of time itself and therefore the world around me.

Once again, thank you for contributions to the forum! With Vlad, Jose and of course Dave Anderson on the vocals, our dream Dynatrace rock group is growing in numbers 🙂
