I see this discussion is keeping going on for a while.
With Enterprise Synthetic Recorder you can script against any application you can see on the Windows desktop with different level of easiness (or difficulty). For Chrome recognizing HTML controls and capturing text is not available (but the text can be obtained through OCR or clipboard). I recommend reviewing Monitoring Applications with Un-recognized Controls article – it has a brief summary of how monitoring Chrome and other “difficult” applications can be approached.

Orange group (more than 100 SMPE agents) is know pushing alternative browsers usage (Firefox, Chrome and Opera as well).
Thus, It seems reasonable to include Chrome at least within supported browsers list if it fits our development roadmap of course.

if I understand it correctly, the question has not been about the Gomez Recorder, but about the Agent Recorder (this section is for Synthetic Monitoring Enterprise (formerly ClientVantage)), not Gomez SaaS.
The two recorders have similar names, but are quite different actually.
Hope that clears things up a bit,

Hi Ibrahim, Solmaz,
I have just come across this post while searching for another answer, can I check that you are referring to the Gomez Recorder having Chrome support?
If this is the case then we are currently supporting chrome with the latest version of the recorder which can be downloaded from this link: Gomez Recorder
I hope this helps. Thanks,
