Please guide us on how to set alert in rum console when scripts are not running though it is scheduled.
We have scheduled the scripts for every 10min in the synthetic VDI. When the VDI restarts , sometimes the scripts stops running (Auto logon is enabled).
So how can we create an alert when the scripts are not running. What are the metrics should we choose to configure the alert.

I used Benjamin's suggested settings but it still does not alert me when there is no data coming in. Today we have a problem with ESM where the agents and agent managers all appear healthy (or at least they did not trigger any alerts) but an alert on Transactions requests which treats no data as zero does not come even though there is no data coming in from the agent. Does anyone have a proven way to monitor that there is no data coming in?

I would try using "Transaction requests" as metric (because it will give you failed + successful attempts, so total attempts) and compare it to greater than 0.
I'd also check "Treat no data as zero (0)" and set the "monitoring time range" to 10-15 minutes so it aligns with your scheduling interval.
Make sure to set the alert type to "Enterprise synthetic and sequence", and the transaction source to "Transactions (Active Monitoring)". I'd also probably use "Application" and "Site" as dimensions.
That should do the trick...

Yes, we got this to work. You should install and configure IIS SMTP service with Smart Host on the Agent Manager machine. On the internet there is a lot of tutorials how to set this up, try to find the tutorial for your WIN server version.
