I'd like to know how the indicators of the column Agent Health (accessible via the Enterprise Synthetic Console -> View ->Health monitoring) is calculated and what metrics is it based on ?
Thanks for the help,

Hi! The “Agent Health” column is explained in the Community at: Health Monitoring Columns.
The Documentation doesn't give any information (I might have missed it):
"The status indicator in this column indicates the current health or the historical health of the Agent. The indicators are described in the table below."
The table doesn't help much either as it just tells you that if it's green it's because there was no error, and if it's red, there was an error.
The problem is that it doesn't explain what type of error are being considered.
Does it take the Host health into account ? is it only Script related ? The view itself is good but what is used is not. For example if I have a blocked process on my script, the agent will still show as healthy, even though nothing is running and the machine is blocked.
Same thing if the OS is frozen...
So it looks like we have no way of having a simple, logical way to monitor our agent health.
Hi! If you have an agent health error, the detailed information will be provided in these columns:
Agent Last Error
The last error, if any, that occurred on the Agent.
Agent Last Error Time
The time of the last error that occurred on the Agent.
Are you asking what types of errors are presented? The Agent health is about the health of the processes on the Enterprise Synthetic Agent. If the Agent is down, the Agent Manager can be configured to send an Agent health error indicating this. Also the Agent Manager can be configured to send data health alerts.
For script issues, there are APIs to set script health warnings and errors. Please refer to Open Active Script API Methods and Properties.
I hope this is helpful. Thanks!
