There is a service named Inventory in my application, I want to check transaction per second and set an alert. I can see number of transaction per minute under Transaction & Services menu. But I want to set an alert if this service receives more than 20 transaction per minute then it will trigger alert.

Hello @Moinarik G.

Custom alerts can be defined when a specific threshold notification on a selected metric is required. Unlike all other event types, custom alerts aren't analyzed by the Dynatrace AI and they don't show a root cause because the thresholds are user-defined.

Have a look on the below link for more insihgt.

Hi Moinarik,

Unfortunately at this time, it is not possible to alert on service throughput spike or drop in Dynatrace. There are many RFEs for this to be added into the product in the future. The Product Manager has mentioned it is on his roadmap. See here

Thanks
