Several questions about integration with Dynatrace Mobile App.

Hello,

I have several questions regarding integration with the Dynatrace mobile application. Unfortunately, this information is not in the product documentation.

  • Is it possible to disable the generation of a token by a given user / group of users to integrate with the Dynatrace mobile application in order to receive notifications from the server? (It's about Dynatrace Managed)
  • Is it possible to set a lifetime for such a token or does such a time exist?
  • Is this a token one-time?
  • Is this token visible as an API key assigned to a given user?
  • Do we have any information in the logs on which device the token authorization took place?

I don't think you can disable the option to link with the mobile app. Every user eligible to log in to Dynatrace has the option to view problems with the mobile app.

About the token - based on my observations:

  • you cannot control the token issuing or validity
  • the token is not visible as API key
  • the token is not visible / reachable anywhere in the tenant or CMC

I think the token gets invalidated after you disable the user, but I did not try it (yet). Feel free to explore :-)
