About directory /opt/dynatrace/oneagent/agent/conf/runtime/

Hi All,

I have a question about directory "/opt/dynatrace/oneagent/agent/conf/runtime/".

Our customer is running system that detects file changes.

The system frequently detects changing files in this directory.

They want to know why OneAgent changes the files in this directory.

Can someone explain the reason for changing the file?

I think path is self explainable. OneAgnt reaches some configuration from dynatrace server during runtime, this has to be stored somewhere. This is why even if you will overwrite somehow agent configuration files, after starting it will fetch current one from server and overwrite your changes.
