dtuser Linux - naming convention

sigmund

In one of our customers environment, a Bank, they are really strict about user naming conventions, and the dtuser that is created during installation really gets their noses bent out of joint 😄

Is there a way to specify a custom name for the dtuser? I searched the forum and found a lot about service user on windows or AD users, but not really seem to find something for my use case. Any reply would be appreciated

Hey.

In linux you can define a user with USER=XXXX when installing. if the user defined dont exist will create it. We are a Telco with the same situation.

You can akso run it with -help and will show up the params that can be used.

Good luck!

Thank's mate, appreciate it, could have RTFM 😄 Sorry for that
